the last in 1822.

The reverse depicts St George, the patron saint of
England, on horseback, slaying the dragon, with the
date in the exergue below.
The regnal year of George's reign is in the raised edge lettering.
Prior to ascension, George IV served as Prince Regent
from 1811 until 1820, due to his fathers ill health.
Dubbed 'the first gentleman of England', he was disliked
by the general population for his extravagance and lack
of leadership during the Napoleonic wars.
