The 1952 Coombs Wilson five pound

banknote obverse shows a framed panel titled

'COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA', with

King George VI to the left, and the Coat of Arms

to the right.


The serial number and note's detail are in the

center, then a blank panel with signatories either

side, on a mosaic background.


The reverse features two panels, to the left a

depiction of commerce, to the right an ornate

'FIVE' design.
