The 1821 United Kingdom sixpence reverse shows
the UK coat of arms with the royal crown above,
thistle to the left, shamrock to the right, and rose
below between 'ANNO' and the date.
The quadrants of the coat of arms show three lions
representing England, one lion representing Scotland,
and a harp representing Ireland. In the center is a crowned shield with the Hanoverian arms.
